Student Musicians! Apply Now for 2022 Student Jazz Competition!
Jazz Pensacola invites high school and college student musicians to enter the 2022 Student Jazz Competition. The application deadline is Friday, Feb. 18, 2022.
The finals will be held at Jazz Pensacola’s March Jazz Gumbo, 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 21 at Phineas Phogg’s in Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St.
The event will be free and open to the public.
Three finalists from each division — College Instrumental, High School Instrumental, Jazz Vocal — will perform at the live finals before judges, all professional musicians. Awards for first, second, and third in each division, ranging from $100 to $500, will be presented at the conclusion of the event.
